Ghost Beach (feat. Noosa) - Close Enough
If you've ever visited Stereo-Gold in the past, you'll know we love our electronic music, so our latest love will probably come as no shock.
It's a track that we've been loving for about a month now, but have only just got round to blogging (such a lazy blogger here, whoops!) - the incredibly trippy, 'Close Enough' by New York electro duo Ghost Beach, which features another artist that we have previous been very interesting, Noosa (who caught our attention with stunning ballad, Walk On By).
The fantastic intro of 'da dee do' or whatever weird noises are being made captured us from the get go, leading us intro a wonderfully cheery electro song. Noosa soon comes in with silky smooth and sweeps us into an effortlessly cool track. And, soon enough, we're led to a synthy and quite 80s feeling chorus - where the vocals get a little bit raspy, giving the track an extra layer - it's not just a fun electronic track, it's actually superb on the vocals front too.
We're in love with everything about it, and how much it makes us want to get to summer - this is the sort of track I can just imagine walking along the beach too (bring on Portugal, little insight into my glorious summer ahead) - and I'll certainly be checking out more from this band in the future now!
This is 'Close Enough';
