Kill Paris - I Love You Lana Del Rey (Where I Left My Heart)

There's so much to say about this song - and that's only taking into consideration the outrageous title.

Now, if I was to say that I loved Lana Del Rey, I'd be telling a lie - but the title still unsurprisingly caught my attention, as it is quite a crazy/unusual title, there's no denying that. Kill Paris (which is a superb name for an artist also, even if I do quite like France) is a solo dubstep producer, who has plenty of stellar instrumentals in his back pocket, such as Tender Love which is a beautifully light, twinkly instrumental mixed in with your typical in-your-face dubstep womping noises.

However, the attention for this blog post goes towards a song where Kill Paris confesses his love for Lana Del Rey. In the title at least, and he has been trying to get Lana to see the track on Twitter. As for the track itself, it is superb, and sets him apart from other dubstep producers with how unique his work is. He manages to combine sweet dream-pop sounds with these hard hitting dubstep sounds - and it works incredibly for him. While a lot of dubstep songs are simply just loud and in your face, there's something about 'I Love You Lana...' which feels really uplifting, and the melody of the main hook of the instrumental is the sort of tune that really worms it's way into your head.

The track is lovely and dreamy, but still gives you what you want from a dubstep instrumental - I love how his music is so wonderfully imaginative and really takes you somewhere, rather than what you'd expect if you were just told that he produces dubstep.

I doubt this little known blog will help him catch Lana's attention - but at least his song has caught our attention? That's something, right?! Here's ' I Love You Lana Del Rey (Where I Left My Heart)';
