OWLLE - TICKY TICKY

Owlle is a French electronic artist, with wonderfully catchy songs.

Now, I'm not going to claim to know many songs by Owlle - and I've only heard two (Ticky Ticky and Disorder), but it's the former of those two that have really left a memorable impression of me. And, to tell the truth, if I hadn't told you she was French, I think you'd struggle to even tell she was foreign, and not just some quirky British-voiced artist.

'Ticky Ticky' is a wonderful pulsating electronic track that has an extremely cute, plodding and memorable chorus. One of which that will stick in your head for the rest of the day, without fail. The track begins very soothing and sounds like it's going to be a haunting love ballad - but it very soons hits into an electro-tastic track with a pounding beat, with Owlle singing the key hook of the song 'ticky ticky, tell me why, ticky ticky' that loops through the chorus. If this chorus doesn't get you tapping your foot, or singing along by the end - then I'd be very surprised.
